Comment:
I am running Vista 64 bit and this is what is happening.
While downloading a file or websurfing Windows Media Player lags up big time to the point I have to either cancel the download until I have finished watching or stop watching until finished on the web.
This is a fresh install of Vista. Latest Video, Audio and Mainboard drivers
Setup is
AMD 9850 x4 4 GB Corsair 800 MHz RAM 8800GTS video card. Vista 64 bit OS
Any advice would be handy as am running out of ideas
Browsing + downloading + streaming media = lots of bandwidth. Maybe you are saturating your Internet connection and that is why Media Player can't keep up. What kind of Internet connection do you have? And did this problem happen before the fresh install of Vista?
