Hello,
I bought the HP laptop with Vista Home Premium as an OS.But I feel XP better.How would I Downgrade from Vista to XP? .Moreover, I didn't get any motherboard driver CDS while purchasing the Laptop.But I Back-Up the files.But, I am not sure that Back-up files include the drivers files also.Kindly tell me the website address to download the drivers files.I am getting my wires crossed.Guide me the way HOW I WOULD CHANGE MY OS FROM VISTA TO XP?Thank you for your reciprocation.

Got to HP's site look up your model and see if they have any XP driver support for the DV6000.


Use killdisk to erase both paritions.

Then buy a copy of XP OEM from newegg and install it on your pc.

Why not try the Classic UI or install XP alongside Vista for a dual boot scenario.
