my machine is AMD 5200+ Asus M2NPV-VM Mobo 2gb of RAM pixelview 7300GT with lastest nvidia driver install that support vista 64bits. (ver 100.65) normal seagate Hdd and samsung dvd writer IDE+SATA combination anyway. i need to open and watch one of the video(chinese movie) thats in real player or .rmvb format. so i install "k lite mega codec 1.65" package, someone who use this codec b4 u should know when u installing, u have a chance to chose to use window media player classic (6.4.9.0) to open or play all types of videa or u can use the lastest WMP 11 to play it.. but the reason i use the WMP classic to play this video is its very easy to select audio language.(the video i play always has two languages audio in it. a cantonese version output on the right speaker and the mandarin output on the left speaker). For WMP11 i still not sure how to disable a speaker yet. anyway heres is my problem. whenever i play this .rmvb video or other format of video (wmv.avi.mpeg etc.) using WMP6.4 classic . vista will change the aero theme back to the basic theme. and when i close the video it goes back to aero theme. but when i use WMP11 to play the video its always stay on aero theme.:) But when i took the 7300GT card out and use the mobo's VGA which is nvidia 6150. and install the lastest driver for this hardware and i start to play this video on WMP classic 6.4 .. it work fine.. it stay on aero theme all time without change the theme back to vista basic theme... man i don't know whats wrong.. isn't it the 7300gt better than the 6150 on my mobo and i try the older version driver and its still the same. i think the 7300gt card is a very s---ty card. but the rating on vista is 4.6 when i put the 7300gt in it.. and 2.8 without the 7300gt card. and i do know that the desktop color is much better and colorful with the 7300gt.. so anyone who using 7300gt on vista have the same problem as me?..

I'm curious about your configuration. It seems like you dumped your money into the CPU & OS, then cut corners on the board, RAM & video card? Have you tried any other players such as Real Alternative? http://www.filehippo.com/download_r...

Jam. i uninstall k lite mega codec pack and install the lastest version real alternative.. but still the same. it change to vista basic whenever i play video with the WMP 6.4 this time i took the 7600gt from my bro's comp to test so it has the same result. so i guess its the nvidia driver conflict with the real player?.. anyone has the same problem out there??. thanks.
