Hi.

I have vista computer connected to flatscreen
in my livingr room, which all suddenly
stopped outputting pictures to the LCD
screen.. It's nothing wrong with the tv,
since I tried other sources for test, and
furtheron the machine is running as I'm
accessing the computer from my laptop.. but
no picture on the tv, so I can't see what Im
doing, and do not have an additional pc
screen in order to help it..

Thats why I wonder if the are any shortkeys
for changing display sources on windows vista
so that I can get my pictures back? or any
other stuff that might work.. (and of course
I have tried resetting the computer)

Thanks

See if a bios option allows a video device as first choice. Be sure to remove connection to any external displays.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

it does.. cause I installed the whole OS with
using the lcd screen, so I actually never
used any normal screen.. no other device is
connected.. this problem all sudden occured,
after I shut down the computer.. although, it
indeed makes some strange sounds on start up
now, maybe because no screen found? Well
anyway, how can I sort this out?

Thanks

Not to state the obvious, but do you have the TV switched to PC input mode? it's easy enough done to accidently hit a key on the remote and switch to a different mode, especially if you have a cat wandering around.

It's always good with the obvious, sure
thing. But, it's in pc mode, and recently had
my other laptop connected

Thanks
