Does anybody know what the disk thrash is all about, or even if it's normal??
When I boot up all is okay... it's a fast boot too compared to XP, but then 5 minutes later both my drives start reading/writing like crazy, and this will go on for at least 6 or 7 minutes. It happens just about every time I boot. I don't even have to be doing anything... just boot up and walk away... a few minutes later it starts.
The disks are well defragged, indexing has been chopped down to a minimum, no spyware, no addware. no viruses... everything APPEARS to be normal
