Hi, I'm trying to install "Need for speed-Most Wanted". It will instal on my vista laptop no problem but my laptops video card sucks and it lags horibly. I have a nice desktop (specs below) but when i try to insall NFS it says I must have DX 0.0 or above and that i should dload the newest vertion from microsoft. I typed in dxdiag and on both computers and both have dx 10. Any idea why it thinks dx is not installed on my desktop. When i try to reinstall dx from microsoft it says i already have a newer vertiona nd no changes have been made. Re-install DX10(from http://softwarepatch.com ), and update your video drivers. If that doesnt work try it to dual boot XP and dont run it on Vista. Not much else to say about it. you lost 287 gigs of porn? Core 2 Duo 1.86
