All right guys, need your help, my coworker's home computer has Norton Internet Security and has now run out of the 3 month trial. She did not want this to begin with and prefers her own antivirus software, I won't be partial to the name; however, focus on the solution.
The problem is that when I tried to delete same, it told me I did not have permission. There is one user, one logon, and I need a solution to this problem.
It won't let me use regedit to delete and it is an act of congress to configure NIS so that it can be turned off and thus deleted out of the registry.
I am new to Visa; however, need help on this matter before I truck back out there again.
Any help is appreciated, NIS has a whooperload of configuration - and even for the general public to understand, good luck.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I know your NIS is preinstalled but it won't hurt to download from THIS PAGE the Norton Removal Tool.
This tool uninstalls all Norton 2007/2006/2005/2004/2003 products from your computer. Just follow step 1 and step 2 of the instruction. Ignore step 3 - it's irrelevant to your objective.
