Subject: Delay loading some webpages.
OS: Vista Home Premium
CPU/Ram: Intel T5200 / 2 Gig
Model/Manufacturer: Gateway Notebook / MT6821
Comment:

My network setup is:

4200 Speedstream ADSL Modem (windstream.net)
|__Linksys WRT54G
|__(wired) Desktop running XP
|__(Wireless) Notebook Running Vista Home Premium

My Problem is:

In IE7 on my Vista notebook I'm having a delay in what seems to be response back from the server of some of the websites I'm trying to go to. Most pages load like normal, but some sites hang right after you click it, and it sits there saying "Connecting..." then after a few minutes the page eventually loads. this problem is not random, the sites that load normally always load normally and those that load slow always load slow, painfully slow. There seems to be no page-weight issue because several "heavy" pages load just fine most of the time. I have tried just about everything to resolve this problem but I just can't get it. Please Help

Example Sites:
http://www.deviantart.com (Loads Fast)
http://www.lexmark.com (Loads Very, Very Slow, at lease 3 minutes or more)

I do not have this problem on The (wired)XP machine w/ IE7

Have you checked your IE phishing filter settings? Try turning it off. I've seen some sites do this while it attempts to check the ads on the websites. Also, you might try Firefox to establish that it is indeed your IE browser...

Thanks Lucid,

I have checked the phishing filter settings and even turned it off and on, still the same result. I even loaded Firefox and it too does the same thing on the same websites. So it's not IE7. Would it be possible that my network settings are the problem?
