Comment: Not sure where to put this.... I have 2 HDDs one has XP on it and the other has Vista on it not in a partition. When I boot it gives me this error. F/Windows/system32/winload.exe (F is my HDD with Vista and data on it.) Anyway a screen promotes me with the F/Window… error and gives me an option to start Windows with an earlier edition or use Vista. I also believe the screen says Windows Memory Diagnostic but it flashes by very quickly. I am able to key up and hit enter on XP and everything works fine like expected. So I would like to know why it is doing this and if there is an easier way to dual boot XP and Vista. It should also be noted it defaults to Vista if I don’t key up to XP in the error screen. If any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks. Bio Star 2 gig RAM OCZ, AMD 64 3400 Athlon Thermaltak SVKing Case XFX 7600 GT Zalman CNP Heatsink 500W Antec TruPower

Reply: (edit)Another user here (rhs08) had posted about VistaBootPRO, I had looked at it and I'm sure it would help you modify your system's boot routine so that the machine always boot up XP as the default OS.
