hi
i really need your help because i wanna know if i can make my own autonumber in access. Because i do not want to use the usual 1,2,3 that we are used to. i want it to still have numbers but formatted in a different way. like alphabets and numbers. Is what i want posible.Regards
Cage

It's possible, but it would need to be programmed in using VB script. As far as I can recall there is no built in automatic unique key in Access with an alpha prefix, only numbers are auto generated.
I suggest you repost in the Programming or Office Software forum to get a quicker response.
