Ok, another thing is weird here...

I have used CrapCleaner (ccleaner) for a looong time with XP and have used it ever since I installed Vista. It always worked great for me...never a thing wrong.

Now, all of a sudden for the past few weeks, it is deleting things and then when it is done and all is wiped out, there are about 20 to 25 that are "marked for deletion" but never get deleted. Now, I noticed that last night the number of "marked for deletion" has grown! What??

Also, when I click on "scan for issues" it always used to find maybe 5 issues, now it is finding over 365 issues and that number grows by 2 or 3 each night.

I dunno what is going on, and how to stop these ever so growing numbers.

Before I forget, the files that are "marked for deletion" all look like this log file I just saved:

Marked for deletion: C:\Users\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\index.dat
Marked for deletion: C:\Users\Administrator\Local Settings\History\History.IE5\index.dat

If some one could guide me to a better program, or tell me what is happening here, I'd appreciate it...
Thanks to anyone that replies.

Untick index.dat and the message should disappear.

Thanks BurrWalnut...
It seems to have done the trick. I don't ever remember checking that feature off, but then again, maybe I did.

But, can you please tell me why there are soooo many issues that it finds every time I run it?? It just grows more and more...never had that problem before either, until recently...
