I am running Vista 64 on my laptop and Vista, XP pro 64 on my desktop with ie8. I have noticed my cpu usage at 100% after I have been on the internet and according to windows task manager I have 4-5 “iexplore.exe*32” running but no browsers windows open, I thought maybe it were startup programs looking for updates. Any one else have this problem?

IE 8 has a program that runs in the background process which is means it updates once the computer is running. So which mean it's only natural to keep those running but it'll be a burden for the user's computer.
