I was never able to pinpoint the cause, so I removed RC1 & reformtted the partition. I'm in the process of switching things around, but I intend to try RC2 in the same machine, dual booting with XP. The only difference will be that I removed the Radeon 9550 for temporary use elsewhere & I've replaced it with my old Ti4800SE. I downloaded the ISO yesterday & burned it to DVD this morn. If I have time, I'll try it tonite.
