Corrupted help and support

Ok guyz... i got a new laptop y'day.. i loaded it with Vista Ultimita.. and everything went fine... all are working. I went on installing my softwares.. Visual Studio 2005,Photoshop, ACDSee etc etc.. now when i try to access Help And Support i get download from Internet dialog.. i have got Orbit downloader installed. when i open Help and Support (and Help in general from any window) i get this Orbit dialog which tries to grab the help.html.. when i cancel it the default IE downloader pops up.. i uninstalled Orbit.. but no luck.. the IE downloader pops up.. and give n error message saying 'could not download from / windows'. can any one help me out???

There is an Online/Offline Help toggle switch at the bottom right corner of the Help & Support dialog window. Your current setting might be set for Online Help.

Edit: Now that I think about it, you probably need to try the fix suggested in any of the links below. They seem to be more appropriate for the problem you described.
