Comment:
When I open Windows mail there is my contacts on the tool bar, which I like. But when I open "create mail" and click on "To". a new set of recipients is given to me. At this time I want to see rhe contact list. If this is impossible how can I at least sort in alphobetical order the names given to me.

Windows Mail auto-completion doesn't use the Contacts list (address book). Instead, it uses a separate list of the last 29 addresses you sent messages to. That list is stored in the registry and is not easy to understand or edit. Names can be partially recognized by right-clicking the identifier, then clicking Modify. They are stored in the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Recently Used Addresses.
To compose an email, scroll down the left page of the Contacts and click on the person you want then click on their email address in the right page to open the New Message dialogue.
