Hi..
I just installed windows vista, and it started off very smoothly, with the internet connection working and all.. But after while, I was dropped out for only having limited access, and not able to get online.. I have reset the router/modem thousand of times, with no luck heading my way...I have a belkin wireless G router(F5D7230-4), and goggle around on this issue, found what interesting site in http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/forums/i... .. He seems to have the very same problem, and I followed the steps written in on that page, but still I'm unable to logon to my home network.. I have another laptop with XP which has no problem getting online.. and had a friend with vista, and he also got online smoothly..
I also tried setting a fixed ip, but no luck..
So, anyone.. I desperated to get my fresh new pc online.. any tips/clues that could help me get online?
wireless card: WL-138GE(ASUS)
Thanks.

I would try updating the firmware of the router, since it is an older router. I know belkin has a support page for routers which are vista compatible. Refer to http://www.belkin.com/support/produ...
Don't forget... www.techlivenow.com

I currently using version F5D7230v4_UK_6.00.14, and none of the version mention on http://www.belkin.com/support/artic... am I allowed to install.. It says the version is incompatible.. Can't really find the correct version it seems..
Any other suggestion, I'm desperate to solve this incomprehensible problem?
Thanks
