Friend has a wireless laptop with vista home premium that she purchased from someone else. When she plugs into a network using an rj-45 ethernet cable, she can use the internet but not join the network. The guy who had the laptop before had a dialup connection, and every time she tries to join the network by putting in the default gateway ip address, the dialup takes over and tries to dial the network which is connected with t-1 line. I'm not real familiar with vista. Can someone instruct how to reconfigure whatever is necessary to resolve this problem? thanks
