I'm a hardcore gamer like most of the teenagers out there. But as my friend reinstalled Windows Vista for me, I can't open the downloaded file so it can progress further for the installation of the program. Can't install Java, can't install Leauge of Legends and other programs so....

Here is the error i get when I try to install Java

Error Java(TM) Installer

Downloaded File Is Corrupt.

Would be SO thankfull if you experts out there help me! Here have a cookie <3

It seems all your downloads are being corrupted which is why they won't install.
If you are using an ethernet cable for internet access, the network card may be faulty and causing the corruption, so try fitting a new network card.

Might have to test memory and run hard drive tests.

A complete reload may be needed. Some data issue. Normally tcp is supposed to provide a correct bit by bit download. Somehow that is failing.

Hang up and live.

Why did you reinstall Vista? What type of disc did you use? Was it the store bought/retail version, a Vista recovery disc, or a copy you downloaded from online? And why did your friend do the install? What makes him more qualified than you? It sounds like somethong wasn't done correctly. Obviously your java download is corrupt. Delete it & redownload.
