My computer runs perfectly fine when I am using it, but when it sits idle for a while it shuts down on its own. I want to leave it on overnight but I always end up having to turn it on again in the morning. I checked the "personalize" in the screen-saver area and unchecking the box where it said that it logs off after a certain amount of time but it didn't do anything. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> Power Management (look for an icon that looks like a battery)

Check your settings there
