I have a HP notebook computer. Once the hook-ups are installed correctly do you have to change the settings on the computer to transfer the image to the TV?
We have a non-digital TV.

You might have to. See the online documents that are for that exact laptop model. Be sure you understand that some TV's do no act like a monitor and even though you could connect they won't work without an adapter. If the laptop does say it has TV out then you set your TV to that input. If the laptop has a secondary video out then you might need an adapter unless your tv is made to work as a monitor.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
