Computer jittering alot

Adobe Photoshop extended cs4 11.0
April 12, 2010 at 17:27:27
Specs: Windows Vista
Well my computer really jitters and lags so much when I start up photoshop nowadays and what ive recently noticed is that in Performance ta of Task Manager
Total memory
Total - 8190
Cached - 6784
Free - normally between 0-50

Now this came off as extremely strange to me..It doesn't seem to screw anything else up but photoshop. which then requires a restart to fix..Now I have monitored this as I start up like majority of my ram is free...then over time it drops 20free memory into cache every second until all my memory is depleted into Cache...this is what I think is causing the problem...Ive tested my ram and it came back with no problems..could it be something as small as a virus/malware. Ive checked all processes and such it's nothing on that least there wasn't anything unusual.

Could be a memory leak issue. What is the SP level of your VÄ°sta ? Are there any program updates for Adobe Photoshop ? Apart from this, what AV do you have installed ? If you do not have one installed, you can run a full system scan with one of on-line virus scanners.
