I need to compare my 2 1/2 year old laptop with a new one that Best Buy is going to replace mine with. All I know so far is a comparable model. Help!!

You mean it was under warranty and broke, so they're replacing it? If so, it will be the closest to your current laptop as possible (performance wise), they dont like to give free upgrades.
