Specifically; I am comparing Price Sheets to either add new product, or delete discontinued product (that is not listed on new price sheet). Here is an example of the look of each spreadsheet (2 Separate spreadsheets side by side):
MODEL # DESCRIPTION COST LIST AD20435 Planter $254 $549
So, I have 2 separate spreadsheet with numerous model numbers/information on each line (can be anywhere from 10-25000 lines per spreadsheet), and I need to compare each spreadsheet to 1. Add new model info, 2. List for Delettion discontinued model info (which is not listed on new price list), 3. End result: both spreadsheets should have exactly same information for further work up.
I hope this explains the situation better. Thanks again. Deb

You will need to use the Vlookup function and possibly some Visual Basic programming if you want it all automated. It looks to me as if using a Database like Access would be a better option for this type of thing. I havn't done anything like this for many a year and the memory is not so good these days. Posting in the Office Software section may yield better results.
