Comment: Does anyone know if the recovery disks made from Compaq's recovery manager contain any Windows PE files to get into recovery console? I only have these Cd's and need to get to bootexec.exe to fix a dual boot Vista/XP mbr issue because these disks are useless. Are there any tools out there yet that will let me fix a corrupt mbr after Xp is installed? First partition is Vista, second partition is XP. System boots without any boot menu right into XP and never sees the Vista partition and I already understand Vista boot manager is different then Xp's. Thanks for any info or ideas!
