Hi,

I am trying to write a batch file for windows vista that will allow me to change the them from Windows Aero to Windows Classic via .bat file command. I have written a command that will disengage Aero, but I would like to take it a step futher by changing it to Windows Classic. The reason I ask is that some computers I remote into are using Vista and having all the fancy animations slows down the remote session considerably. Can someone offer some insight into this?

Thanks!
Eric

Might be easier to use RDC connection settings to disallow the fluff?

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
