Comment:

I have recently bought a new Compaq Presario C700 Notebook PC running Windows Vista Basic. To my disappointment, I found out that the "Chess Titans" game IS NOT included in the "Basic" package of Windows Vista. I tried to copy the installation of "Chess Titans" from a Vista Home Premium installation, but the game refused to run in Vista Basic... Weird, I think! Does anybody know if there is any way to make "Chess Titans" run in Vista Basic??

Well, I do not have a solution, however I did try this myself and it did not work as well. I would imagine it has something to do with a security feature set in place in order for upgrades to seem "better".
