Iam buy new laptop sony Vaio VGN-CS230J. This laptop install vista. iam install windows xp but no install . what procedure in install xp?

Set sata drive to ata or ide in bios. Might consider virtual pc or virtualbox if you only need xp for a few applications. "Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
