Subject: Change Desktop IconOS: Vista Home PreminumCPU/Ram: 2.20GHz/1024MBModel/Manufacturer: HP Pavilion a1710n |
Comment: Besides the usual desktop icons I have 3 programs I use the most, and I usually change the icons to suit the wallpaper I'm using. I've been slowly putting my new computer as I like it and just done these three particular ones. Two of them are working as before but the one for Paint Shop Pro (all 3 are shortcut icons) has the 'Change Icon' box under 'Properties' blanked out. Can anyone tell how I can change that please? Thank you very much.

Reply: (edit)Seems odd. Two questions: Does the Paint Shop Pro shortcut open the program properly? Have you tried deleting the shortcut and creating a new one to the Paint Shop Pro .exe file? DerekW

Reply: (edit)The program did open fine on that icon. I had tried your second idea before with no luck, but I just tried again and it worked!! How very odd. Anyway, thank you very much.
