I have recovered my computer several times because after loading some software and having it work just fine all of a sudden the cd/dvd drive doesn't work. My drive is e: and it doesn't show up and the drive just doesn't work at all. I have spent so many hours trying to get this to work and have even exchanged the computer to no avail. Is there some driver update that I should be loading?? My sound doesn't even work either???I hate vista--please help!!!!!

I have a problem with my dvd sony RW DW-Q28A when I insert a dvd or a cd the computer will restart. This happened since I installed windows vista. Is it that i have to install any drivers? if someone knows, respond me back pls I woul appriciate. Thanks

I have a new dell laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate the DVD+_RW Drive stops working sometime and it works again if I restart the computer.
