can't share drive with another PC

Hi, once again.I have external HDD connected to my notebook that runs WinVista, and i have my WinVista notebook connected wirelessly to my WinXp notebook.What i am trying to do is to access external HDD that it connected to WinVista via wireless network from WinXp, and i can't do it.more that that,when i share any other drive in WinVista (i.e. drive c or d) i can access it from my other notebook via wireless network no problem, but not external HDD. Please help. Thank you.
