Cant remove winmaximizer from Task scheduler

November 21, 2011 at 01:43:14
Specs: Windows Vista
winmaximizer couldnt be removed from task scheduler in system tools where it was located . All I could do was make it a minus sign instead of a plus sign but it wouldnt budge with a right click. There's no delete or uninstall feature there. It still remains after making it a minus sign and causes drop down boxes that say "success" . I also found a trojan in Winmaximizer and got it quarantined with AVG. Yet it still gives those annoying pop up boxes on reboot to reinstall saying it is corrupt.

Darn junk is hard to get rid of sometimes.

Try a restore point to a time before it was installed.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
