i cant open internet explorer. i click on it but nothing happens. who do i fix my laptop? this is new laptop with windows vista.

Assuming your notebook is free from viruses, spyware, etc., go to " \Program Files\Internet Explorer " folder and double-click on " iexplore.exe ". If it opens from here, it means you have a broken link to Internet Explorer executable.
If this is the case, then you can create a new link to IE.
But I suggest that you install Vista SP1, if you do not have it, and install IE8 over the non-opening IE7.
