Specs: Windows 09.11.2009
When I click on a hyperlink a statement appears and states:
The operation has been canceled due to restictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your administrator.
I have checked the security but can't find a way to resolve this issue.
Please advise me of a way to fix this issue.

Is this PC yours? I got hit with the same error message when I tried to do something on a computer on display at BestBuy. Should I ask the sales people to fix it so I can do whatever I want?

If this is not yours, it is a restriction restricting you from using the PC for any purposes other than what you were allowed to use it for.

On all search e-mails I get I can't open a position. That goes for any hyperlink such as Norton.

Wonder if Vista business comes with an installed security template?

I suspect the issue is caused by how the program is linked to the link. It is not IE anymore for some reason. Might try help and support to choose see settings on how to choose browser.
