can't install itunes

this is the first time i ever use itunes since i just got an ipod touch, at first it downloaded it but it kept saying that there was no apple application support, so i made a new user account with the administrator thing and now i tried to download a clean version(meaning i uninstalled the old ones since i've been trying so many times to install itunes) i keep getting this message " the procedure entry point _CFRunLoopGetWindowsMessageQueueMask could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreFoundation.dll." and then this one pops up "itunes was not installed correctly.Please reinstall itunes. Error 7 (windows error 127)" please help

Read the following Apple Support document on iTunes and 64bit editions of Vista:

If you uninstall old versions of iTunes, make sure you restart your computer and then install the new version of iTunes.

Since you are using the 64bit edition of Vista, you MUST download the "iTunes64Setup.exe" file instead of the "iTunesSetup.exe" file.
