Can't get onto the Ebay site.

Specs: Windows Vista, Pentium Dual T3200 2.00GHz / 3 gigs
I am running windows Vista with IE9 and I haven't been able to get on Ebay for the past couple of days. I keep getting the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. Diagnose Connection Problems" screen. I have no problem getting onto any other website besides Ebay. Can someone please tell me how what the problem may be and how I can try to fix it?

command nslookup or .uk or whatever to see what the IP is.

Then try that ip address in browser instead of ebay name.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

Thank you for the response. I did as you said and was given 6 different IP's. I tried all 6 and got the same Ebay page error message on them all. The message said ...."Page Not Responding. The eBay page or feature you are attempting to access is not responding. Please try the options below:
Try to access the feature directly from the eBay Home Page, instead of using a bookmark.
Wait a few minutes and try to access the feature again.
If you have waited ten to fifteen minutes and you still can't access your page:
Check our Announcement Board to see if the feature is currently unavailable.
If what you are looking for is unavailable, you may still be able to access other parts of the site from the eBay Home page"

I tried going to the home page and got the IE's Page cannot be diplayed. Diagnose connection problem message again.

Make sure ebay is not showing in your hosts file or in IE Restricted Sites.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Thanks for all the help. I managed to fix the problem. I just added Ebay to my "Trusted Sites" list and now I have no problems getting on their site. I am not sure why this worked considering I was able to get on their site before the problem started and they were not on my "Trusted Sites" list at that time but i'm not complaining since it seems to be working fine now.

Bit odd that you had to do that but "all's well that ends well".
Thx for popping back to let us know.
