after the cable company came out to reinstall the internet due to an outside problem the internet ran slow. Now it only gets only certain site like google. I have uploaded adobe reader but it still isn't running any better. Do I need to reinstall any other software?

Adobe reader has absolutly nothing to do with the Internet. If you are having issues with your connection after the cable company "re-installed the Internet" (whatever that means) you need to call the cable company and find out exactly what they did before anyone here can even begin to help you. Or tell them what is happening now and have them fix the problem
