Folks i have a modem driver that is a setup exe. now when i try to run that setup in vista, it says 'DSL Modem driver need installation need to reboot your pc..." like. after restart nothing happening :(

Is that the EXACT error message? If not, please post back the correct one. That could be a key to finding a solution for you. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers

yah its prolink adsl modem setup exe for vista. when i run the setup exe it says "Vista need to be rebooted for the adsl modem setup to complete." and privide two options, restart now, or restart lator. now the madness of this vista design i found is (if i am correct) after restart, the default vista hardware installation setup continues and ask ing for the diriver cd, since i downloded the driver i dont have a cd, so i choose 'browser for file location" and if i browser, i have only that setup file is there to supply. but i know it was asking for a ini or somthing. so a weird issue this is right?

I'm a bit confused as to whether you are using XP or Vista? In your specs it says XP, in your product it says vista? Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
