Specs: Vista, don't know
Every time I try to chat now it comes up with srvgate.dll...do you want to save? I don't have a gateway..?? The only thing is I may have downloaded it for my daughters computer (gateway) to try and roll back her vista to xp...but how did infect mine?

Neither processlibray.com nor programchecker.com has srvgate.dll in their database. My guess is that it doesn't belong there.

Download anti malware from malwarebytes.org, update and scan the PC

It seems to want to save it under the win32 folder?

No, as far as I know that file shouldn't be there at all.

svrgate.dll doesn't belong on your computer, but it is harmless. It is part of the Talisma Customer Management system, and it ought to stay on the server of the company that you are trying to talk to. It is supposed to switch to a chat box from whichever page you are browsing. Send an email to the company telling them that their system isn't setup/working properly.

Oh, and another blog site said that they could clear the problem by deleting all cookies. You might try doing that before emailing whoever you are trying to chat with.
