Hi Sorry for the lack of details about the laptop, I cant remember them and it is not mine. When the broadband connects it says it is connected and the anti virus etc, downloads the updates so the connection must be working BUT when opening IE to browse the internet it will not open any pages?? What lead to this & when did you first notice the anomaly? Have you considered a system restore?
