laptop is joined to domain. when logged onto laptop with a domin admin account i go to the Computer Management console and go to the local administrator's group. I need to add a domain user to the local administrator's group so when i get to the point where i can select the user object, I click on the Advanced button and I get this message: "the advanced page cannot be opened because of following error: The server is not operational".
In the past I have added countless domain user objects to local administrator groups on many different PCs in both XP and Vista but am unable to on this particular laptop. anyone have any ideas?
