Hi guys.I have two notebooks, one has Vista Ultimate on it another WinXP. i have connected to Vista Ultimate External USB hard drive and trying to access it with my WinXP notebook that is connected to Vista Ultimate over the network. My network works perfectly and i can access all the drives on Vista Ultimate from WinXP, but not external drive. When i try to do so, it says that i don't have permission to do that. I went to sharing options of USB drive, and gave it Full Control for Everyone, but it didn't help.
Any ideas? Thx in advance.

Try taking ownership of the drive.
