I studied the "long solution(s)" but did it in other way : i could Unallocate the whole USB stick in XP on my other PC , and then i formatted it (choices where FAT or FAT32). I Vista i then could format it to NTFS Then the "Readyboost screen" came up BUT as Anmor said : not all USB sticks are Ready Boost compatible. i did find a Ready Boost compatible chart (googled) and probably will buy a new one my RAM is 2 gig so i will buy a 4 GB one (ready boost compatible)
