hi,
i have got a dell inspiron 1720, it comes with 5 partitions, 118mb eisa, 10gb recovery, 4gb unallocated, 216.28gb os+data, 2.5gb dell media direct. i split the 216gb os and data patition by 40gb with paragon partition manger. then i tried to format the partiton in windows computer manager it came up with "there is not enough space on the disk to complete operation."
in paragon partition manager it says "connot find available hard disk."
in diskpart it says insufficent space.
how do i format it??

My guess is your partition information is wrong. Might try ranish and see what it says.
