cannot find windows.old anywhere

i had to reinstall Vista and have found the Windows.old file before but after this reinstall I cant.

did you do an upgrade install, or a clean install (i.e., you formatted during install)?

What is the matter with Windows.old directory ? What do you expect to find in it ? You can create one if you so wish.

Enable "Show hidden files, folders & drives" within Folder Options.
