Comment: FOr some strange reason, recently webpages are really acting up. sometimes websites just wont load and i get the "internet explorer cannot display the webpage message" and then alot of the times images wouldnt load and instead just a red x. its very frustrating, i've tried firefox and its the same...i'd be very greatful for any suggestions..

Reply: (edit)how is your connection speed? sounds like maybe a firewall or a routers port settings maybe blocking access to the webpages. Try turning off any firewalls, antivirues and ant-spyware tools and see if it happens again.

Reply: (edit)my internet speed is very good. the funny thing is, i can go on the same website and sometimes it'll just refuse to work but i wait a while and try again and it works...or sometimes the websites just wont load properly. i know those sites are working.

Reply: (edit)Sounds like either a firewall or your connection pings out often. I'd test ping your connection and try turning off your firewall.
