Can not open Desktop tab in Display

CPU/Ram: Core Duo/1gb

When I try to open the Desktop tab in display properties, it will never
response, The CPU usuage is constant on 50% used by "rundll32" process. I
have to kill the "rundll32" so the CPU usage come down. but still, I can not
access the desktop tab at all. Does anybody here has a solution for it?

Try making sure you have video drivers that are compatible with Vista and that they're the latest releases...
