Comment:

During the install of Office 97 from my Cd an error message pops up: "outlcomm.dll was unable to register itself in the system registry." I am trying to install on an Acer Laptop. I had a similar problem awhile back when I wanted to install Office 97 on my desktop XP Pro. It was a matter of changing a filename in the registry. I am not that familiar with Vista, so am posting here for advice. Thanks.

OFFICE '97 IS NOT supported, Microsoft state Office 2000 or Office XP can be installed, but it would appear Office 2003 or later is recommended.
