i would like to know if my dads laptop can run vista? it is a Travelmate C110 TCI everything is untouched there has never been an upgrade with the exception that the CPU is actually 1.2GHZ not 900MHz, or should i upgrade system ram to 1GB my dad does not need the aero feature so he will just use the basic version cause he really doesnt care how pretty the aero is xD. actually as said in the post its actually 1.2GHZ and we bought this computer used and never got the reinstallation CD and to order it from acer we need a credit card and well my dad is an idiot and i told him and he says "well then can i use ur credit card, i then say we do this everytime i dont have one, he then replies ohh well ill ask brenda, then he never does" and he just gets mad at me for the laptop running slow when i know a format will slove the slower then needed ness, but we dont have XP tablet CD and we have Vista which offers support so ya thats y he needs vista.
