Can I add a 32 bit processor to my computer that has 64 bit? I cannot run some of my needed programs on 64.

I don't know dual processors' motherboards that allow the co-existence of 32 and 64 bit processors as usually multiprocessors require to be mounted in quite similar pair for timing reasons.

I suggest you install Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 (free) and then set up a virtual Vista 32 bit environment inside the virtual machine. You need to acquire a legal copy of 32 bit Vista however to install it. I think that is the correct way to fit your needs, via software not hardqare.
