i have quad core 2.4 ghz pc/4gb ram/800gb hard disk space and with nvidia 8800gt graphics card.

i got call of duty 4... whenever i play the game it sort of laggy even if i change the resolution to the lowest one...this happens with most games, the driver for the graphics has been installed and i also newly installed windows vista. so what could be the problem..can anyone help please
